I also had a bit of blank space in the photo around Zoe, so I carried those shapes across the photo. ![]() Ha! I walked in to the kitchen to find her sitting impatiently for the next innocent victim to walk in to the kitchen to feed her, so I snapped this photo and decided it would be really cut with this 2×2 pocket page I created during my prep! I had filled the pockets with the transparency hearts, but I decided to throw in a few stars and chipboard pieces just to mix it up a bit. My story for this page is one of a daily occurrence, the stare down we get from Zoe the cat who is way past waiting for her dinner. Everything is from Ali Edwards except the acrylic word, which is Colorcast Designs.ĭay 19 | The Zoe Stare Down with Ali Edwards 2021 Product Release Setting up your shots like that can absolutely make these pages so easy to pull together! I printed out my photo and then added the circle transparency, the green label, the acrylic word, and all the fun little houses. When I set up the photo with my camera, I left the counter showing at the bottom of the frame so that space could house the journaling, the day number, and any embellishments I might want to add. On this day we were beginning to do all the baking and kitchen prep work that is necessary for Christmas dinner and breakfast, and we both spontaneously grabbed whisks and held a whisk battle. This is especially important when you’re feeding six people! Ha! One of the ways we deal with it is to be playful and lighthearted, and for me this photo documents just such a moment. But one of the things that we have learned over the years is how to work in the kitchen together. My absolute favorite thing about December Daily is this ability to focus in on one single story, usually a favorite memory or moment, sometimes seemingly inconsequential and maybe to the outside is looks silly or whatever. Let’s get started with today’s layouts! Day 18 | The Epic Whisk Battle If you’d like to see the previous progress and how the album has evolved up until now, check out this link: December Daily 2021. One thing that has been working for me is simply using digital templates or even full-page photos and then adding physical embellishments after printing, so you will see a lot of that in these layouts today. The rugged, exterior-grade units incorporate Powercore® technology to directly accept line voltage, eliminating the need for external power supplies and easing installation.Hi friends and welcome back to December Daily 2021! Today I am sharing Days 19 through 20, and I am really happy with the progress I am making, slowly but surely, in this album project. Because Color Kinetics' lighting systems are compatible with the industry-standard DMX protocol, the ColorCast 14 units integrate seamlessly with two Pharos LPC2 controllers, enabling the creation of dynamic light shows on demand. ![]() The Color Kinetics-illuminated London Eye is visible from more than a mile away. We're extremely pleased with the results, and believe Londoners and visitors alike will agree," said Kevin Dyer, Head of Technical Operations for the British Airways London Eye. We've achieved an ambitious goal in bringing dynamic, visually appealing color to the structure while at the same time eliminating the maintenance costs and requirements of the previous fluorescent system. ![]() "The London Eye has become a 21st Century symbol for Britain, and it's a thrill to see this long-planned project come to realization. This technology gives the London Eye the cost-effective ability to display precise colors for corporate clients and special occasions, while predominantly displaying white light. Each unit may be individually programmed to generate millions of colors that are seamlessly produced by Chromacore® technology, as opposed to the use of colored gels. Approximately 640 ColorCast® 14 luminaires (now specified with ColorGraze IntelliHue Powercore) were supplied, installed and programmed by UK-based Architainment Lighting Ltd. It was previously lit by fluorescent tubes that proved costly to maintain, and required the manual installation of gels to produce colored light for special events.Ĭolor Kinetics was approached to replace this system with an LED-based alternative. Situated on the South Bank of the River Thames and often called the "Gateway to London," the London Eye is the world's fourth largest observation wheel at nearly 135 m (450 ft) high, and is visited by more than 10,000 people daily. In December 2006 Color Kinetics added another global landmark to its growing list of prominent installations: the British Airways London Eye. ![]()
